Northwest Queens Electric & Gas System Upgrades
 
Please be advised that Con Edison is upgrading the electric system in various neighborhoods in Queens. This 5.7 mile project spans the neighborhoods of Long Island City, Astoria,Woodside, Jackson Heights and Corona.
 
Work is currently taking place in the following location:
 
·        Electric work is being performed along 35th Avenue from 85th Street to 63rd Street.
 
·        Work will be performed over the next two months between the hours of 7am and 6pm on weekdays, and Saturdays between 8am and 6pm.  
 
What to expect:
·        Limited street parking
·        Temporary lane closures
·        No service interruptions are anticipated
