Please keep in mind calling the Super or Management

Off season air conditioner storage (see below) now available.

***********************************************************************************************************************************
Designated spaces for out of season air conditioners are now available in the basement.

This space is OPTIONAL for those residents who prefer to remove their units from their windows during the heat season (October 1 through May 31).

The space is in a locked room with marked spots for 20 air conditioners
(first come, first serve after receipt of license agreement and fees at the Lovett office).

Please refer to the air conditioner storage license agreement for details, available on our website.

If you wish to view this room and available spaces,
please contact Orlando (Phone 646-209-8530) or email him orlandobardales@gmail.com).
He is available during his regular work hours Sunday-Thursday 9am-5pm.

Some suggestions for out of season air conditioner storage:
  • Clean your air conditioner exterior and dry thoroughly.
  • Replace or clean filters so you can start the next season fresh.  You can wash reusable filters in equal parts white vinegar and warm water, dry well before placing back in your air conditioner unit.
  • Store your unit upright, not on its side or back (which can damage the compressor).
  • Cover each unit with a cloth or vinyl bag to protect against dust and dirt. Other recommended options include a bin, trash bag, shower curtain or the original box.
  • Placing an air conditioner on a dolly serves as both transport and a elevation to prevent damage from dampness or water from leaks.
If you have any questions, please contact Penny Garcia at John B. Lovett & Associates.
